Plump and creamy costume pearls are featured in this vintage high dimensional grape cluster style brooch by ART, circa 1950s/60s.

The elegant mid-century cocktail brooch consists of a textured gold plated base, set with tear drop shaped simulated pearls in a cascading design, and is also a book piece – appearing in Joanne Dubbs’, "Costume Jewelers: The Golden Age of Designers" (see last pic).

It measures approximately 1&1/4 inches wide by 2 inches long, weighs a considerable 26 grams, and is signed “ART”.
